VOLT ("we", "us") operates volttickets.com and the Volt Scanner mobile app. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: email address and authentication credentials when you sign in.
• Ticket and order data: events you purchase tickets for, ticket tiers, seat labels, holder name, and QR entry secrets needed to admit you at the door.
• Scanner activity: for organizers and door staff, scan history including buyer name and email for the active event.
• Camera access: the Volt Scanner app uses your device camera only to scan ticket QR codes. We do not record or upload camera video.
• Device storage: the app stores tickets and scan manifests locally so wallet and door scanning work offline.

How we use information

• Authenticate you and show tickets you purchased.
• Validate entry at events and sync scan results with organizers.
• Operate, secure, and improve the ticketing service.
• Send transactional email such as sign-in links and ticket delivery.

Sharing

We share ticket and scan data with event organizers for events you attend. We use service providers such as Supabase (auth/database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Vercel (hosting) to operate the platform. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We retain account and ticket data while your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations. Sessions are stored in the device secure enclave where supported. Sign out of the Volt Scanner app on shared devices.
