Privacy Policy

VOLT ("we", "us") operates volttickets.com and the Volt Tickets mobile app. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: email address and authentication credentials when you sign in.
• Ticket and order data: events you purchase tickets for, ticket tiers, seat labels, holder name, and QR entry secrets needed to admit you at the door.
• Scanner activity: for organizers and door staff, scan history including buyer name and email for the active event.
• Camera access: the Volt Tickets app uses your device camera only to scan ticket QR codes. We do not record or upload camera video.
• Device storage: the app stores tickets and scan manifests locally so wallet and door scanning work offline.
• Notifications: when you enable mobile push, we store your device push token, notification preferences, delivery status, and whether you have opened an in-app notification.

How we use information

• Authenticate you and show tickets you purchased.
• Validate entry at events and sync scan results with organizers.
• Operate, secure, and improve the ticketing service.
• Send transactional email such as sign-in links and ticket delivery.
• Send event updates for tickets you bought and, only when you opt in, announcements about new events from organizers you previously bought from.
• Send account or service messages from VOLT to your in-app inbox and registered devices when they are needed to operate or support your account.

Sharing

We share ticket and scan data with event organizers for events you attend. We use service providers such as Supabase (auth/database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Expo (mobile push delivery), and Vercel (hosting) to operate the platform. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We retain account and ticket data while your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention obligations. Sessions are stored in the device secure enclave where supported. Sign out of the Volt Tickets app on shared devices.

Your choices

You can turn event alerts and organizer announcements on or off independently in the app, disable push permission in your device settings, sign out, request account deletion, or contact us about access or correction requests. See account deletion.
